The agent backs up SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB on your server, encrypts the file, and uploads it to storage you control. The web panel only handles scheduling and status.

How it works
Agent takes the backup
On your server the Agent compresses the database backup and seals it with SBK encryption. Secrets stay on the host.
Files go to your storage
The encrypted file goes straight to your S3-compatible, SFTP, FTP, or local/UNC path. It is never downloaded to or stored on Cefexa servers.
Restore on the server
You start restore from the panel. The Agent reads from your storage and restores on the database server, including point-in-time when the plan allows it.
